The client (you) will make an order

I. General terms

1. The client will provide the artist with a written description of the idea/concept.2. The client will provide the artist with a clear visual reference(s) or written description of the character(s) portraited in the commission.3. The artist reserves the right to decline the client's commission without an explanation. However, after the artist has accepted the commission, the artist can not cancel the commission without a well justified reason (See part V. Cancelling and refunding policy, 3.).4. The artist reserves the right to recycle unused sketches.5. The artist will provide the client with work in progress screenshots throughout the commission process.6. Minium size for the commission will be 1000x1000 pixels unless requested otherwise. If the client wants the commission in certain size, they should mention it while making the order.


II. Payment

1. All commissions must be paid in full upfront. Payment plans may be discussed for commissions totalling over 100 euros.2. Euro (€) is the accepted currency.3. Payments will be accepted through PayPal. The artist will send an invoice to the client’s email.


III. Edits during the process

1. Any major edits/corrections the client wishes for should be stated during the sketching stage. Major edits requested after the sketch has been approved may raise the price in form of an extra fee.2. Clear mistakes made by the artist, such as missed markings that were indicated on the reference, will be fixed for free. The artist is not liable for mistakes that are due to an insuffient reference material of the character.


IV. Copyright and usage policy

1. The artist retains all rights to the artwork, unless otherwise negotiated and agreed upon in writing.a) If the commission is a time-sensitive gift the artist may delay public showcase at the request of the client.b) A purchase of commercial rights to the artwork will always be minium 300% of the original price.2. The client may nota) resell the artwork.
b) claim the artwork as their own.
c) alter the artwork with AI or by hand and then display it in public, with an exception of cropping/resizing the original artwork to create an icon or banner for their social media profiles or other websites. The client must always credit the artist when displaying the artwork in public. Credit can be given by mentioning the artist's name, tagging the artist or providing a link to the artist's website.
d) remove the artist's watermark or signature from the artwork except for what is stated in part IV. 2. c) about cropping the artwork and displaying it in public.
3. By default the artwork is for non-commercial purpose only. The client may not make profit with the artwork directly or indirectly unless they have bought commercial rights to the artwork.4. The client retains the ownership to their own character(s).


V. Cancelling and refunding policy

1. The client must inform the artist as early as possible about the decision of cancelling the order.2. If the commission is cancelled by the client or the artist, the refund will depend on the amount of work already done for the commission as follows:a) The refund will be 100 % of the original price if the artist has not yet begun working on the commission.b) The refund will be 85 % of the original price if the sketch is already finished.c) The refund will be 0...85 % of the original price if the artist has done more work for the commission than just the sketch (for example drawn clear lines, started coloring and so on). If the artwork is finished, there will be no refund.3. The artist may not cancel the commission after accepting it without a well justified reason.
